A panel discussion exploring issues around gender in the workplace inspired by the SLG’s 1975 exhibition, Women and Work, by artists Margaret Harrison, Kay Hunt and Mary Kelly.

The panel includes contributions from Dr Caitríona Beaumont, Adelaide Damoah, Andrea Francke and E-J Scott, chaired by the REcreative Editorial Board and MA Culture, Criticism and Curation students from Central Saint Martins.

The event coincides with Revisiting Women and Work: A document on the division of Labour in Industry 1973-75 a new display presented within the archive room at the Fire Station from 13 November 2018. Documents including correspondence and installation photography from the exhibition are presented alongside a recent filmed interview with Mary Kelly.
